Acting for the Camera

This course will introduce the student to the techniques, skills, and vocabulary required to act for the camera, utilizing scripts from commercials, industrials, feature films, and television. The course will provide opportunities for the student to practice the craft of acting for the camera. In addition, the class will provide the student with insight into the casting process and business of being a film, television, commercial, and video actor. The class will not count as an elective for the day school drama major or drama minor. No prerequisites.
