Performing Arts Department Alumn Chris Kammerer (LA '11) to Visit Campus

Bio: Old Sap (Chris Kammerer) is a WashU alum from 2011. Born and raised in Chicago, he is the co-founder of WU-SLam. In addition to bringing poets to campus from around the country, and working to send a WUSTL team to the national collegiate slam, he participated in performances through the PAD, Thyrsus, and also won the A.E. Hotchner Playwriting Festival. His play "The Stroke Scriptures" received a full production his Senior year. He now lives in Bigfork, Montana where he earns a living writing songs and playing the banjo.
