Applications Are Now Open for The Summer Program at Shakespeare's Globe Theatre
Immersing the student in an intensive exploration of Shakespeare; his plays, the historical-political-cultural context of his time and the stage skills necessary to perform his work.
London, England, July 7 - 27 2024.
Over three weeks, students earn credit for one three-unit course entitled “Acting Shakespeare” from world-renowned artists and scholars at London’s Globe Theatre under the supervision of Washington University faculty in a nurturing and challenging community setting.
Applications are open to Washington University students with the following:
- A previous course in Shakespeare (e.g., Ampersand 119 & 1192 or English/Drama 395C or Drama 4692).
- 3.0 GPA minimum.
- Acting/theater production experience.
