Stage combat is a vital skill for any actor to aquire! It is the technique of keeping them safe while telling effective choreographed stories of violence. It covers slapstick, falling down, mass battles and more. Stage combat present in nearly every theatrical production as it is ever present in conflict.
Stage Managers welcome: Stage Management play a vital role in staging theatrical violence!
Additional Information: Please come prepared to move. This includes closed-toed shoes, movement clothes, and water bottle. Due to the nature of the class we will be simulating violence, however all boundaries will be honored through consent-based practices.
