Alum Noga Landau’s thriller “Tau” premieres on Netflix

Tau follows a once street-smart grifter, Julia (Maika Monroe) who is the latest victim kidnapped and held captive in a fatal experiment. The only thing standing in the way of her freedom is Tau (Voiced by Gary Oldman), an advanced artificial intelligence developed by Alex (Ed Skrein), her captor. 

Alum Noga Landau’s thriller “Tau” premiered on Netflix June 29th, 2018.  Noga Landau is a feature and TV writer, born and raised in Santa Fe, New Mexico. She attended Washington University from 2004-2008 for undergrad, and UCLA from 2012-2014 for her masters, where she received the Streisand Sony Fellowship. Her sci-fi feature TAU was written at UCLA, and appeared on the 2014 Black List. It went into production in 2016, starring Maika Monroe and Gary Oldman, and will be released on Netflix this summer. In TV, Landau has worked on WAYWARD PINES (Fox), THE MAGICIANS (Syfy), and SEE (Apple). She's currently in development on a show at Amazon, and writing a horror feature for New Line.
