Dwayne McCowan (LA '20) steps on to The Black Rep stage.

This Spring, junior drama major, Dwayne McCowan was cast by The Black Rep to perform in "Milk Like Sugar," a contemporary play by Kirsten Greenidge which runs from February 13 until March 3, 2019.

McCowan first displayed his acting talents in 2017 portraying Allen in the Performing Arts Department's production of "Gossip," by George F. Walker and directed by William Whitaker.  In the fall 2018 he played Da'Ran in Leah Nanako Winker's play Kentucky, directed by Ron Himes.  

McCowan is a third year drama major from St. Louis, MO.  He has taught at The Black Rep Summer Performing Arts Program since 2017.
