Big sister Hiro has come back home to Kentucky to rescue her sister Sophie from an abusive father and from marrying a born again Christian she only just met!  Here’s a “dramedy” with music and talking cats and ethnic and cultural divides as old as the hills.  The New York Times asserts that Kentucky “. . . marks the full length debut of a distinctive new voice – mouthy, sly and bourbon sweet, with the expected kick.”
