Auditioning & Acting for the Camera
A workshop with Sasha Diamond (LA ‘12)
This workshop is for current students, and alum interested in working as an actor, as well as students who would like to know more about how an actor fits into work on a live set. The workshop is designed to help students begin to translate their theatre training into on-camera work, using the self-tape as a template for relating with the camera. Sash will also discuss how this translates to working on set after you’ve booked the job.
This workshop is limited to 20 participants.
Sasha Diamond graduated from Washington University in 2012 and currently works as an actor in theatre, television, and film. Her theatre work includes performances on Broadway and at Off-Broadway theaters like The Public and Roundabout Theatre. Select television credits include New Amsterdam (NBC), Bull (CBS), NCIS: New Orleans (CBS), and commercials for Buick, Head & Shoulders, and more.
