The Alexander Technique teaches people to recognize and change counter-productive habits and to allow natural postural reflexes to work, improving balance, coordination, and efficiency of movement. This practical study of the human mind in movement helps us to understand how habits of thought are integral with our body structure and its function. Pass/Fail only, but students pursuing the Certificate in Somatic Studies must enroll for a letter grade.
